Day 1 – Addis Ababa – Gondar – Simien Mountains National Park

Fly from Addis Ababa to Gondar on Ethiopian Airlines. Upon arrival, meet our team and drive to Sankaber, the gateway to the Simien Mountains National Park — a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Meet your guides and prepare for the trek.

Overnight: Camping

Day 2 – Trekking in Simien Mountains National Park

Trek from Sankaber to Geech (3,600 meters elevation), taking approximately 5–7 hours. After about one and a half hours, reach the Jinnbar River and waterfalls, which you will cross later in the day. After crossing the river, ascend for about two hours to Geech.

Enjoy spectacular scenery along the route, with frequent sightings of Gelada Baboons.

Day 3 – Trekking in Simien Mountains National Park

Trek from Geech to Chenek (3,620 meters elevation). Walk along the dramatic Enatye escarpment rising above 4,000 meters before descending to Chenek.

Wildlife sightings may include the rare Walia Ibex and Gelada Baboons.

Overnight: Camping

Day 4 – Gondar – Addis Ababa – Departure

After breakfast, drive back to Gondar and take your flight to Addis Ababa. In the evening, attend a folkloric dinner where you will taste traditional Ethiopian dishes and watch cultural dances from various ethnic groups. A traditional coffee ceremony will also be served.

Later, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure.
